Linger like a Butterfly, BUZZ like a Bee

With Google's new offering, Buzz, they show once again that they want all your data and they don't ever want you to float away. It's like "Gluegol", stick around. It's enticing.

Google's picked and choose from the buffet of Twitter, Facebook, FourSquare, and FriendFeed features plus some original ones, but it is a compelling dish?  It's certainly has a beautiful slick presentation, and presumably since it's built on Google's architecture it shouldn't face the scaling problems Twitter has.  With all those Gmail "no setup needed" users plus feed from all the Google content sites, it's already well populated.

But, there's those pesky privacy issues... Ironically, you can Google for them.

For now, I'm trying to figure out if it's best as an aggregator, or a "walled garden".  One thing is for certain, this is a developing product...

Follow me and we'll figure it out at Todd Zebert's Buzz
